About College
The college is started from academic year 2008-2009. This is named afterChhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the greatest ruler of Maharashtra. Throughout his life, he fought aganist injustice, aganist inhuman treatment of his people. His Life is inspiration to us all. Through this educational institution, our aim is to create an entire generation of educators who will be playing their part in bringing education to the masses and helping in making the dream of a developed country by 2020 come truw, the dream of our great scientist and ex-president Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam.

Library
The College library has more than 4000 books on various subjects primarily focussing on education and education technology. Also there are a number of magazine and journal subscriptions. Borrowing facility is available well beyond college working hours thanks to our librarian Mr. Sawant U.P. (M. Lib & I. Sc). The students are always encouraged to avail the facilities. The borrowing restrictions are relaxed and each student is able to borrow four books simultaneously. There is a seperate reading room adjacent to library.
Laboratories
Computer Lab : The future educators will be using Information Technology to the full extent. So it is mandatory to prepare them for this. The college has a full fledged computer lab with a full time ICT Instructor. Facilities like broadband Internet access etc are available.
Education Technology Lab : Many educational technology apparatus are available to the students. These range from a simple public address system to LCD projector.
Science Lab : Apparatus for up to H.S.C. level science experiments are provided here.
Sports and Recreation
The college avails of the services of a full time Physical Director Mr. Parkhe B.K. (M.P.Ed). Creative recreations etc are encouraged.
