Preamble : The secondary teacher education programme, commonly known as B.Ed., is meant for preparing teachers for secondary/senior secondary schools.

Duration and Intake : The B.Ed. programme shall be of a duration of at least one academic year.
There shall be a unit of 100 students for ensuring optimum utilisation of physical and instructional infrastructure and expertise of the teaching staff. Division into appropriate batches may be done at the institutional level for effective curriculum transaction.

Eligibility : Candidates with at least 45% marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with at least two school subjects at the graduation level are eligible for admission.
Admission should be made either on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination or in the entrance examination conducted by the University/State Government, as per the policy of the State Government/University, to which the institution is affiliated.
There shall be reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC, Handicapped, Women, etc. as per the rules of the concerned State Government.

Aim and Objectives : To provide a strong knowledge of computer fundamentals, programming basics, logical and numerical methods, networking and internet, database and application packages.

Eligibility : H.S.C. (12th) Pass.
Direct Admission to Second Year :- 1. 1st year passed in BCA, BCS, B.Sc.(Computer), B.Sc.(IT), BMS from any recognized University.
2. Students who have passed 3 year government recognized diplomain computer, IT, ENTC after 10th/12th.
3. Students who have passed 2 year government recognized diplomain computer, IT, ENTC after 12th.
